On Tuesday, April 1, former Briarwood Christian High School standout Drake Meeks’ current college team, the Southern Miss Golden Eagles, won 13-6 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Tulane Green Wave.

The game took place at Pete Taylor Park. This was their first matchup against the Green Wave this season.

The Golden Eagles’ next game is scheduled for Friday, April 4 at 6 p.m. at Kennedy Center Field against Marshall Thundering Herd.
