On Saturday, March 8, former Briarwood Christian High School standouts Tyler Waugh and Wesley Helms’ current college team, the UAB Blazers, won 13-12 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Cornell Big Red.

The game took place at Winthrop Ballpark. This was their first matchup against the Big Red this season.

The Blazers’ next game is scheduled for Sunday, March 9 at 12 p.m. at Fluor Field against Michigan State Spartans.
