On Sunday, March 9, former Briarwood Christian High School standout Drake Meeks’ current college team, the Southern Miss Golden Eagles, won 7-4 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the UNC Wilmington Seahawks.

The game took place at Pete Taylor Park. This was their third matchup against the Seahawks this season.

The Golden Eagles’ next game is scheduled for Tuesday, March 11 at 6 p.m. at Pete Taylor Park against UTRGV Vaqueros.
