On Sunday, March 2, former Oak Mountain High School standout Davis Gillespie’s current college team, the Southern Miss Golden Eagles, won 11-3 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the TCU Horned Frogs.

The game took place at Lupton Baseball Stadium at Williams-Reilly Field. This was their third matchup against the Horned Frogs this season.

The Golden Eagles’ next game is scheduled for Tuesday, March 4 at 4 p.m. at Dudy Noble Field at Polk-Dement Stadium against Mississippi State Bulldogs.
