On Sunday, March 30, former Spain Park High School standout Matthew Widra’s current college team, the South Alabama Jaguars, lost 8-7 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Southern Miss Golden Eagles.

The game took place at Pete Taylor Park. This was their third matchup against the Golden Eagles this season.

The Jaguars’ next game is scheduled for Tuesday, April 1 at 6:30 p.m. at Eddie Stanky Field against Southeastern Louisiana Lions.
