On Saturday, Feb. 22, former Spain Park High School standout Ella Ussery’s current college team, the North Alabama Lions, lost 2-1 in their NCAA Division I softball game against the Auburn Tigers.

The game took place at Toyota Field. This was their first matchup against the Tigers this season.

The Lions’ next game is scheduled for Wednesday, Feb. 26 at 3 p.m. at Hilda B. Anderson Softball Stadium against Memphis Tigers.
