Stetson falls to North Florida in NCAA baseball game featuring former Chelsea High standout

At 1 p.m. on Sunday, March 15, the Stetson Hatters—including former Chelsea High School standout Connor Ball—were defeated 4-1 by the North Florida Ospreys in NCAA Division I baseball competition.

Melching Field at Conrad Park was the site of the teams’ third meeting this season. Stetson had previously dropped a 12-1 decision to North Florida on Saturday, March 14.

Ball pitched 2.1 innings, finishing with one walk and one strikeout.

The Hatters are set to return to the field Tuesday, March 17, for a 6:30 p.m. matchup against the Florida Gators at Condron Family Ballpark.
