Shelby County issued the following announcement on July 15.
Alabama Governor Kay Ivey issued a statewide mask order. Under Ivey’s order, citizens must wear a mask in public when interacting within six feet of people from a different household starting at 5 p.m. Thursday 7/16/2020.
The order stays in effect until at least July 31, the day the governor’s amended Safer At Home order is set to expire.
