City of Columbiana recently issued the following announcement.
DESCRIPTION:
Campers ages 5 through 13 are invited to register for the Shelby County Blazer Elite Youth Camp! The event will take place September 20th at Columbiana Sports Complex from 3pm-7pm. The camp will emcompass everything included in a pro-style workout! We will have radar guns set up to take velocities on balls thrown from the mound, outfield, and infield as well as exit velocities off the bat! We think this will be a fun way to give instruction while also giving kids the ability to see results in their development almost instantly. Instruction will be given by new UAB head coach Perry Roth amongst other college coaches and players! You can register now by clicking the register button located on this page. Online registration will end Sunday September 20th at 12:00 pm. This camp shall be open to any and all entrants (limited only by number, age, grade level and or gender). Again for this camp this age limit is set from 5-13. Reserve your spot now for a fun-filled afternoon of development with UAB baseball coaches and players!
