Chilton County School District issued the following announcement on Oct. 6.
The Chilton-Clanton Public Library is issuing FREE public library cards for students ages 16 and under. This will allow hard copy checkouts and digital access to eBooks.
To receive the free card, students must visit the library located at 100 1st Avenue, Clanton, AL and be accompanied by a parent or guardian. The library is currently open Monday-Friday 9-2 and beginning November 2nd, Monday-Friday 9-4.
