Pelham Parks & Recreation's Music in the Park Continues Sunday Afternoon

The weekend is here, and the weather should be lovely for some outdoor fun.

1. Pelham Parks & Recreation's Music in the Park continues Sunday afternoon from 4:30 pm - 6:00 pm at Pelham City Park with Vinyl Rock. Fans of classic rock will want to see lead singer Natalie Fry-Horne, along with a lineup of talented local musicians play classic rock and roll that, according to the group’s Facebook page, “adds fun to any event.” Food trucks will include Hey Bebe, Pollo Goyo, and  Sugar the Treats Truck. Bring your blanket or chairs, grab a bite to eat and enjoy an afternoon in the park!

2. The leaves have a hint of fall, so take a hike at Oak Mountain State Park. If you're a new outdoor enthusiast, or want to learn more about hiking, head over to the Interpretive Center on Sunday, October 16 from 2:00 pm to 3:00 pm for Hiking 101: A Beginner's Guide to Hiking.

Come explore #Pelham and see what sets us #apathapart.
