SEVERE WEATHER THREAT
A strong storm system is expected to move into Alabama this evening, bringing with it a threat of severe storms and localized flooding in the overnight hours.
The main threats are tornadoes, damaging straight-line winds of 70-80mph, large hail (golf ball size), and heavy rain that could result in localized flooding.
