Pelham Hometown Christmas Parade Route

Christmas Parade route | City of Pelham

Christmas Parade route | City of Pelham

Check out the map of Saturday’s Pelham Hometown Christmas Parade route, along with traffic diversions on Hwy 31 and Hwy 119. The parade will begin at 5:00 p.m. Traffic will not be allowed on Amphitheater Rd. beginning at 4:45 p.m.

Hwy 31 South will divert to a single lane north and southbound flow between Meadowview Lane and Hwy 119. Traffic will be running on the southbound side of Hwy 119 between Southgate Drive and State Park Road. Hwy 119 will be closed between Southgate Drive and Hwy 31. Traffic will be diverted onto Southgate Drive/Commerce Blvd. Traffic will revert to normal as the parade clears the two major roads.

We expect there to be a large turnout for the parade with lots of traffic. We encourage everyone to give themselves plenty of time to get to their preferred viewing area. If you are not attending the parade, you may want to adjust your travel routes to avoid the area between 5:00 pm - 6:00 pm Saturday evening.

The annual Christmas Tree lighting should be around 6:30 pm, with free ice skating and pictures with Santa to follow at the Pelham Civic Complex & Ice Arena.

A huge shoutout to our Pelham, Alabama Police Department, Pelham Fire Department, and Public Works Department, who make events like this possible!
